Are you as excited as me when you think of what 2016 will bring us? 🙂 I decided to welcome the carnival like a queen – energetic red always gives me a great mood. Especially, in SUCH an edition! 😀 The cut of my dress was modelled on movie stars from the 50’s. Although it’s a mid-calf dress with long sleeves and a decent neckline, it accentuates the female waist and the hips’ line in an excellent way. No wonder that Marilyn Monroe was a fan of such solutions! The black chemise which is visible under a transparent red lacing is an essential, modern element in this set. According to me, it’s the most sensual way of showing your body. And it’s not the end of the play with layers yet! 🙂 I put a red, fluffy fur from feathers on it, which without doubts wins with a sad, black coat. Both the jacket and and the roses embroidered on the lacing refer to the Sicilian collection designed by Dolce and Gabbana for the current season. Models walking in their clothes on the catwalks always look like real, stylish Italian women. I think that I managed to get a similar effect 🙂 I also included another inspiration in this set – a hat which is pinned to my hair and it comes straight from the movie „Alice in Wonderland“ directed by Tim Burton. But in my version the Hatter would rather be Red than Mad and I… would be happy to feature as his daughter 😀
